The BİLGİ Writing and Learning Center (BWLC) is a unit affiliated with the English Preparatory Program, where BİLGİ students can get help and receive consultancy on their any language learning needs. We are dedicated to providing students with the necessary support to enhance their writing skills and academic achievements. Our center is designed to assist Bilgi University students in various aspects of writing and learning, ensuring their success in academic endeavors during their language learning process.
At Bilgi Writing and Learning Center, we offer a wide range of services to cater to the diverse needs of students. We specialize in working with students on different types of writing assignments, including academic essays and paragraph writing. We also cater for the language learning needs of the Bilgi students considering the other skills while learning a language. We guide students through every step of the writing process, from topic selection to drafting, writing techniques, editing, and beyond.
One of the greatest advantages of Bilgi Writing and Learning Center is one-on-one tutorials and feedback provided to students. We support our students’ language learning needs, offering personalized feedback to help them improve. This approach allows students to develop their strengths and address areas for improvement effectively.
Moreover, Bilgi Writing and Learning Center offers support not only in enhancing writing skills but also in developing effective learning strategies. We guide students in time management, note-taking techniques, academic reading strategies, use of English grammar and we provide them with the opportunity of practicing the target language. These skills are essential for academic success and empower students to become independent and efficient learners. We prioritize creating a supportive and safe learning environment for students at Bilgi Writing and Learning Center. Additionally, we provide opportunities for students to participate in workshops, competitions and activities that focus on improving writing and learning skills.
